The Project Management Institute or the PMI is an internationally acknowledged institute for project manager that is known for its high benchmark for project managers for them to be able to get certified. The institute is responsible for maintaining project management standards across the globe and as such its certifications carry a lot of weight and prestige in the world of project management.

On one hand, we have PMP that targets professional project managers who have enough experience under their belt and are ready to take the next step in their careers. Eligibility for PMP Certification Exam:

• You must have a bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma.
• Bachelor’s degree holders must have 3 years of work experience with 4500 hours as the lead project manager.
• Diploma holders must have 5 years of work experience with 7500 hours as the lead project manager.
• You must complete the 35-hour study program on the PMBoK.
