Eligibility Details for gaining the PMP Certification:

PMP is an advanced level Project Management Certification. To gain the same, one should possess high levels of expertise as well as work experience. Eligibility details for the same are as mentioned below:

  • The professional must have a high school diploma along with a work experience of a minimum of 5 years and 7500 hours of working. Completing the formal PMP Prep course of 35 hours is also mandatory to become eligible for the exam.

OR

  • The professionals must have a 4-year degree or a higher qualification with a work experience of a minimum of 3 years and 4500 hours of working. Successfully completing the 35 hours of the PMP Prep course is mandatory for degree holders as well.

Eligibility Details for getting the CAPM Certification:

CAPM is an entry-level project management certification. In order to gain the same, you need only a basic understanding of the project management profession. Below are the eligibility criteria to appear for the CAPM exam.

  • The person must have successfully completed a high school diploma or any other higher education.
  • The person must also have gained a minimum professional experience of 1500 hours in the professional field of project management. However, if the applicant does not have the required experience, he/she can appear for the exam after completing a formal CAPM prep course of 23 hours.
