In order to become eligible to appear for the PMP Certification Exam, the applicants are required to fulfill either one of the below mentioned two conditions:
- If the applicant has a high school diploma or any other global equivalent as their highest education, they are required to acquire a minimum of 5 years of work experience, paired with 7500 hours of professional working in order to appear for the PMP certification exam. In addition to that, they are also required to complete 35 hours of formal PMP exam prep before they can appear for the exam.
- However, the applicant holds a degree or a higher education qualification, he/she can appear for the PMP exam just after acquiring 3 years of work experience paired with a minimum of 4500 hours of working as a project manager. The applicants are also required to complete 35 hours of formal PMP exam prep in order to become eligible to appear for the PMP certification exam.
